Deep Creek - Tiny Home with Mountain Views
Welcome to Deep Creek Tiny Home at Mountain’s Ledge, a Timberroot Rustic Retreat. Set on a cliff nestled amongst the trees, during your stay, you will enjoy a perfect tiny home getaway with your own private hot tub, furnished patio, private Solo fire pit, and a fantastic view.
Space
Deep Creek Tiny Home is equipped to make your stay at Mountain's Ledge memorable. This is one of our larger units and features dual lofts with 6′ standing-height access, a full kitchen, a large bathroom, and lots of built-in storage. The large windows in this 312 sq ft tiny home give an open and bright feel; there's an inspiring view everywhere you look.
The main level has an open living space with a cozy couch and Smart TV, a dining table, a full kitchen, and a full-sized bathroom. Keeping your tiny home at a comfortable temperature is an environmentally friendly mini split AC unit and heat pump.
The primary loft features a king-sized bed with a large bay window overlooking the valley for a spectacular sunrise view. The secondary loft holds a queen-sized bed and a small window. We also provide a white noise machine to help you sleep soundly.
The kitchen is well equipped for you to make all of your meals here. It features a 4-burner gas stove, an oven, and even a small toaster oven. It has all the essentials like cups, plates, pots & pans, a sink, a fridge, and a Keurig with K-cups included. Enjoy a meal at the dining table inside or on your private deck.
Deep Creek has a full-sized bathroom stocked with towels and washcloths. Custom-made Enchanted Forest shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel (a harmonious blend of pine fir, amber, and tobacco).
The front deck features a private hot tub with a stunning view of Sequachie Vally below. Enjoy a glass of wine while watching the stars from your Adirondack chairs, or make s'mores in your Solo fire pit.
Deep Creek Tiny House is named after a crag (a rugged rock cliff face) that's only been known to locals for years but is now one of the area's premiere climbing spots.
To make sure your stay at Mountain's Ledge is perfect, our locally based Guest Services representatives are on-call from 8 am to 11 pm, seven days a week.
Please Note: while Chattanooga and neighboring areas operate on Eastern Standard Time, Mountains Ledge operates on Central Standard Time.

Things To Note
NO SMOKING
Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes is prohibited inside Timberroot properties.
Not only does smoking leave behind unwelcome odor and residue, but it can be extremely dangerous in a 100% wooden home. You may smoke/vape outside on the deck. However, please ensure that windows and doors are closed so that the smoke/vapor does not enter the building.
Cigarette butts should be fully extinguished and disposed of properly in exterior trash receptacles. Any evidence of smoking/vaping or smoke/vapor damage or odor inside the property or cigarette damage/debris on the exterior of the property during your stay will result in a $150 fine, due to non-compliance with our stated policies.
PESTS
We take great care to ensure our properties are free from pests. Our properties are regularly treated by professional pest control and our staff takes preventative measures to keep pests out.
However, as our properties are located in wooded areas, it is possible for guests to encounter insects and/or small woodland creatures like mice. If you encounter an unwelcome pest inside your lodging, please contact our Guest Services team immediately so our grounds team can address the problem as quickly as possible. We ask that guests help us prevent pests by keeping doors and window screens closed and maintaining proper cleanliness during their stay.
By booking with us, you accept that encountering insects and woodland creatures is a possibility and that no refunds will be issued for such instances.
Policies
Rental Agreement
Please note you will need to sign our rental agreement to complete your booking. A link will be provided by email immediately following your booking request. Please consult your rental agreement for details regarding the policies below and any related fees or penalties. Failure to abide by your rental agreement may result in additional fines, forfeitures and/or eviction from the property.
We realize that accidents happen, so please contact Guest Services immediately if a situation arises and damage occurs.
Deposits
Please note that guests under 21 or guests residing in the Greater Chattanooga Metropolitan Area will be charged a $200 refundable deposit subsequent to receiving their booking confirmation.
Cancellation Policy
Please consult your rental agreement.
Pet Policy
We are pleased to offer pet-friendly accommodations at certain locations for a nominal fee. Restrictions include:
- 2 pets, less than 50 lbs. each. No aggressive dogs are allowed on the property.
- Your dog must be approved and added to your reservation at least 48 hours before your check-in date.
- Pets must be crated overnight and when left unattended. They are not allowed on furniture or bedding.
- Pets must be leashed at all times when outdoors and all waste must be picked up and disposed of properly.
No Smoking / Vaping in Vacation Rental
Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited indoors or on adjacent decks/patios.
No Parties or Events
Accommodations and grounds may not be used for weddings, parties, conferences, business dinners, or similar events unless specifically permitted by Timberroot management. Only Guests associated with the reservation are allowed on the premises at any time.
Media/Event Use Restriction
Accommodations may not be used or reproduced for, or as part of, any online listing, photographic production, television production, movie/film production, wedding event, party, or in any other way in which our property becomes a setting for amateur or professional use of producing, staging, or otherwise, without Timberroot’s express written consent.
Good Neighbor Policy
Our resorts are designed for all guests to peacefully enjoy their stay. We do not tolerate partying, loud noise, excessive occupancy limits, illegal parking, etc. that violate policy or interfere with our neighbors' peaceful enjoyment of their community. All public areas close at 10p.m. and do not open again until 7a.m.
Pool, Spa, & Hot Tub Policy
Pools, spas, and hot tubs are used at your own risk. Children and anyone requiring supervision must be supervised by a responsible and able-bodied adult at all times.
Fires, Fireplaces, Fire Pits, and Grills
Combustibles are to be used at your own risk. Guests are responsible for ensuring that all fires are contained and completely extinguished after use.
Firearms & Weapons
The safety and security of our guests is our top priority. We strictly prohibit the use of firearms or any other projectile weapons on any of our properties.

Refunds
Timberroot is not liable for any interruptions to a guest’s stay that is caused by, but not limited to, weather, strike, riot, orders of public authorities, acts of other guests, any other acts of God, Force Majeure, pandemic, accident, or any other cause, except as outlined above.
