Held annually at Pates Ford Marina, WakeFest combines competitive wakeboarding with a laid-back lake festival atmosphere. Expect boats anchored together, riders throwing tricks, music playing across the water, and a lively crowd soaking up peak summer vibes.
What Guests Should Know Before You Go
- WakeFest is primarily a water-based event.
Most spectators experience WakeFest from boats, pontoons, or personal watercraft on the lake. There is limited land-based viewing, and access to the best vantage points typically requires being on the water. - Boat rentals book early.
If you plan to attend WakeFest without your own boat, we strongly recommend reserving a pontoon or boat rental well in advance. Marinas and rental companies often sell out for this weekend. - Expect heavier lake traffic.
WakeFest is one of the busiest weekends of the summer on Center Hill Lake. Plan for increased boat traffic, busy marinas, and a lively atmosphere throughout the area. - Evenings are more relaxed.
While the lake stays active during the day, evenings tend to slow down. So you can enjoy a quiet dinner, a fire pit, or a soak in the hot tub after a full day of rowdy good times on the water.
